Tammi Mossman, M.A.

Acorn Program Director for Visitation Supervision

I’ve been supervising visits for families in Denton county for three years. My top priorities are safety and support for everyone – the custodial parent, the visiting parent, and the children attending visits. Earning a 24 hour certificate training from the Supervised Visitation Network was beneficial in improving my effectiveness as a supervisor.

As both a childhood domestic violence survivor and a survivor advocate, I love being part of a process that provides opportunities to strengthen bonds and facilitate good communication. Witnessing moments of connection and fun between family members encourages me while I serve my “neighbors” in this role.

Visitation supervision is a part-time job for me; otherwise, I’m a grad student and church staff member. My husband and I have grown children and some bonus kids, and my pets are two German Shepherds and three turtles.
